The Building Designers Association of Australia really appreciated Tim Ross taking the time out of his busy schedule to join us at our National Design Conference in Canberra. It was a privilege having Tim there to present, moderate a panel and participate in one of the social functions. Tim Ross gave a brilliant address about design, history and nature of archives at our celebration to mark the RMIT Design Archives 10th Anniversary. His passion and knowledge of his topic shone through as he spoke with humour about the role of design in our everyday lives. His warmth and respect for Australia design was appreciated by the legendary designers such as Robert Pataki and Phillip Zmood who were present at the launch.

Tim developed excellent rapport with the audience and was able to improvise on the script provided, which made for a very natural, entertaining presentation. Tim had no problem incorporating events and changes to script that came up on the night. All feedback we received from the evening was extremely positive.
