- Kath is a former professional athlete who played cricket for Australia, New South Wales and Middlesex CC (UK).
- Kath is the CEO and founder of Not for Profit and Global Movement, Kindnessfactory.
- She has broken her back on two separate occasions. The first while playing professional cricket, the second time getting hit by a car while training for an Iron Man competition.
- In December 2016, Kath was awarded the Pride of Australia Medal for showing courage in the face of adversity.
- Kath was selected to deliver the Prime Ministers address at the Young Leader’s Forum in 2015.
- Kath is a national ambassador for R U OK? Day.
- Kath once set off on a journey purely reliant on the kindness of strangers to survive, which lasted 3 months. She is currently writing a book that documents the journey.

Kath has broken her back on 2 separate occasions and trained herself how to walk on 3 separate occasions despite being told she would remain paralysed for the rest of her life. Losing her parter, the love of her life brought her close to breaking point but she fought back and is now one of Australia’s youngest CEO’s.
