Meet Heather Swan - World Record Setting Adventurer

She’d never mountaineered.

She’d never ice climbed.

She’d never skydived.

She’d never base-jumped.

She’d never wing-suited.

She was a corporate executive with no background in adventure or athleticism when she began her quest to fly a wing-suit from the world’s highest cliff.

Yet she succeeded in setting a World Record for the highest base jump in a wingsuit, from Mt Meru (6672m) in the Indian Himalaya. She remains the only woman in the world to successfully combine high altitude mountaineering and wingsuit BASEjumping.

Heather says the most challenging part of this almost unbelievable achievement - understanding and transcending fear.

At a time when we are facing a ‘fear and anxiety epidemic’, Heather’s story and her simple but effective approach to transcending fear strongly resonates and inspires. So much so, she has been invited to share her story at events large and small all over the world.
