Ivan Aristeguieta exploded on to the Australian comedy scene in 2016 with his brilliant observations on Aussie culture and food, taking him around the country, headlining theatres and selling out festivals. Ivan has toured for the past 4 years with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow and the Sydney International Comedy Festival Showcase Tour.

In 2018 Ivan performed at the MICF Opening Night Comedy Allstars Supershow, hosted the RAW Comedy Grand Final and sold out his newest show ‘Matador’. Ivan has established himself as Australia's favourite Venezuelan comedian and has gathered a mass of fans for his trademark cheerful and naïve rejoicing of the unmissable Saturday Bunnings sausage sizzle.

Ivan's TV comedy credits include performing at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival OXFAM GALA (2016-19) and the Just for Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival (2017). In 2016 he was awarded Best Newcomer by the Sydney Comedy Festival, and starred in his own ABC online sitcom, Lost in Pronunciation, a fictionalised account of his immigration to Australia. He have also been a guest panellist in numerous TV shows: Have you Been Paying Attention, The Project, Celebrity Name Game, Hughesy We Have a Problem and The Living Room.

Oh, and Ivan is a trained cook, food technologist and brewer. He's a loud and proud food nerd. When not performing, Ivan is probably making his own chorizo at home, or experimenting switching Vegemite for Miso paste.
