- Learn the 4 key Mindset Rules that propelled a languishing AFL Club to Premiers in under 12 months (keynote)
Emma takes the audience through the key mindset rules she introduced to Richmond Football Club to propel them to premiers in under 12 months. Her rules gives the audience an understanding of the machine in their minds so that they can better control their attention to achieve more, perform better and feel happier.
Her rules are designed to stand up under the extreme pressure of high performance, high expectation environments, giving participants real life tools to take into their lives and job for immediate impact.
Emma uses examples and stories from her time at Richmond, individual elite athletes and her own life experience with spinal cord injury, to give weight to what she is teaching.
- Bringing your A Game (workshop)
Emma’s Bringing your A Game workshop follows on from the learnings in her Mindset Rules keynote. Participants will be guided through the process of finding their own A Game model as well as identifying their B Game traps. Each participant will leave with a clear process of accessing and understanding their A Game - giving them an immediate performance tool to bring into their lives.
- Family tragedy and a story of survival through the use of mindfulness, perspective and determination (keynote)
Emma tells her family’s story of surviving their son’s tragic accident and subsequent quadriplegia in a way which not only captures the hearts and attention of her audience but also inspires them to switch their own perspectives and strive to change and improve the story they are currently living. Emma skilfully weaves practical skills and lessons into her presentation, bringing to life the elements of mindfulness, elite level sport, performance, gratitude and empathy.
Outside of these popular keynote presentations and workshops. Emma also offers presentations around the topics of cultivating confidence and self worth; the power of vulnerability in high performance environments; meditation and how to bring it into a busy life to improve attention control and focus; daily habits for success; using self-talk to feel better and do better; using connection for a competitive advantage.
I honestly wouldn’t be where I am without her. She’s been nothing short of life changing, career changing and has had such an impact on me as a player and a person. Her game day intuition is sometimes more valuable than our own.

I was ready to walk away from sport all together before I met Emma. I had no confidence and lacked any form of motivation or self-belief. Emma’s work taught me practical tools to help me connect with my breath and the present moment. I started to believe that I was
good enough and that I actually had the ability to be successful and worthy.
Australian Olympic Track and Field Athlete
From the very first meeting with Emma, she had answers where I didn’t have answers before. Now I was clear on what had happened when I blew up in my race and I had solutions to make it better next time. That’s what I was truely excited about… She had that belief and trust in my ability and what I could do and said if I stuck to what she taught me I could come back stronger… and I certainly did.

Not only did Emma change the way I go about my cricket, she changed my whole life.

I just wanted to pass on the amazing feedback we had from our team after Emma’s presentation at our conference last week. So many of our managers name it their favourite session and I know her tips and stories are going to really change the team’s personal and professional lives.
Sales and Marketing Manager
I have been inundated with positive feedback about your Mindfulness session yesterday: well presented, good pace, great practical tips, excellent examples across AFL and admin, relatable….I think you get the gist. By the way, I agree with it all! So, a BIG thank you and we all really look forward to parts 2 and 3.

Emma was incredible! Her content was absolutely perfect for our audience and our event theme of ‘high performance’, she absolutely nailed everything - her delivery was spot on, her approach talking to a room full of C-Suite/executive men was spot on, and sharing / weaving in her personal story of family tragedy really added another extra special element of humanity and genuineness to her keynote. She really was the highlight of our conference day, and I don’t think we, or our guests, could have loved her more!
Emma was great, really engaging and relatable.
The feedback we got of Emma was outstanding and the team really appreciated Emma spending extra time post her presentation with us.
Emma’s presentation was brilliant. Very moving and insightful and had an instant impact. Emma has succinctly distilled psychological concepts and rendered them into simple easily consumed slogans and created a tool (a language really) that could be transformative for an organisation’s culture.
Emma, delivered a very powerful message, and every one walked away with a new skill that they can incorporate into their lives. Just Brilliant, and so valuable, Thanks Emma

Emma was the main guest at our major fundraising ball in October. I knew from her recent experience with her son Will’s spinal injury that she had first hand experience in the spinal unit at the Royal Children's Hospital. Simply put Emma was amazing!! Her honesty, empathy and information combined with humour was captivating. This was obviously a very hard subject for Emma to speak on, but she put her audience at ease and received a standing ovation at the completion of her speech. Emma is passionate, not only about her son Will and her family, but also her other great passion teaching mindfulness. Her knowledge on mindfulness is extensive and has great examples to share with her connection with the Richmond Football Club. She has the ability to hold an audience from the minute she starts and I could not recommend her highly enough for any future public speaking engagements she partakes. As a committee, we were thoroughly grateful to have had Emma as the guest speaker for our 500 strong crowd.
Emma Murray spoke at the 2016 Star Ball Melbourne in August. The Star Ball Melbourne has been running for thirteen years and Emma’s address to the audience was by far one of the most inspiring and impactful that we have witnessed to this date. Emma spoke with complete passion and integrity from go to wow. Her raw encounters of the Murray journey helped in providing the audience with a very small snapshot into their unimaginable story. Emma did not waiver in her execution - her ‘matter of fact’ approach as she spoke was incredibly influential and her ability to draw upon her professional skills in Mindfulness and Health were certainly encouraging. Thank you for your amazing contribution to Star Ball Melbourne Emma - we would highly recommend you for any event in the future.
