Colin Lane

One of Australia's best known comedic entertainers, actor and TV host

Colin Lane was one half of Australia’s favourite comedy duo, Lano & Woodley, before parting ways in 2006 to pursue their individual careers.

He has gone on to tour cabaret and comedy festivals around Australia, including Gilbert and Sullivan's The 3 Mikados with David Collins from The Umbilical Brothers.

Colin has been a regular on Spicks and Specks, Ready Steady Cook, The Circle, Good News Week and The Project. He was a guest panellist on QI alongside Stephen Fry and Alan Davies, and the Sandi Toksvig version of QI in 2019.

In 2016 Lano & Woodley brought the house down when they reunited for a surprise performance at the Melbourne Comedy Festival's 30th Birthday Bash. The duo went on to do the Waddya reckon? chat and Yeah, why not? returning to the stage in the show FLY, which won the 2018 Melbourne Comedy Festival People’s Choice Award. FLY was recorded by Amazon Prime and released globally in 2020.
