Anthony Clarke OAM

Anthony was great. He has such a good personality and charisma. He got the audience engaged and got everyone involved in different ways. He is so positive in the way he tells his story. He made us laugh, think and value the positives in life. Everyone in the audience commended him and were glad they had the opportunity to listen to him. Thanks a lot, I’m glad we made the right choice by engaging Anthony for our event.

Anthony was a hit with the conference delegates, both throughout the conference and during his presentation. His presentation was humorous while at the same time having a valuable message for the delegates. Anthony's presentation was one of the few that I sat in on - and it was interesting to watch the reaction and responses of the delegates. Anthony presented straight after lunch - a hard call, but there was not one head nodding, no-one was restless or figity - he had them all captivated.

Delegates were asked to complete a survey and rate their level of satisfaction all of the speakers - Anthony rated 80% excellent 20% very good (the levels were - poor, satisfactory, good, very good, excellent) I think this speaks for itself!!

At this prestigious annual conference consisting of Ophthalmologists & Optometrists, Anthony presented brilliantly and fully held our attention for the duration of his talk.  He balanced his talk with sensitivity, light hearted life examples and truly spoke with empathy.   On feedback from the conference attendees, Anthony was a highlight and made us take a deep look at how we interact with our patients and be thankful for what we have.

Excellent - Anthony was very good to work with and accommodating. He set the scene for our OHS&W conference. He talked about his accident, his recovery and rehabilitation and also "getting on with his life". He gave us funny anecdotes of his adventures - hitch hiking the country and his experiences. It would be a pleasure to have Anthony as a key note speaker at a later date.

Of the 75 staff that filled in our personal evaluation form, 72 respondents cited Anthony’s presentation as something of the day to be valued.  Three of these respondents indicated that it was the most valued part of the day.

70 students individually responded that the talk was excellent.  When asked for one important point that they remembered, most said that if he can do all that, then they could do anything too - which was the purpose that we had Anthony up to speak to them.
