An Officer of the Order of Australia, Ann Sherry AO, assumed the role of CEO of Carnival Australia in July 2007 following a diverse career in public affairs and banking. She has held senior bureaucratic roles in Australian state government in the areas of health, child care, employment and women's policy. Nationally, she led the Office of the Status of Women (1992-94).
