I’ve worked professionally in the Music Industry for over 30 years and in that time have negotiated numerous recording and publishing deals, managed, stage managed and worked with some of Australia’s best-known acts.
In the late eighties after founding Bandshop, I was invited to teach The Music Business course at Box Hill College of TAFE which I did, part time for 4 years. I’ve also held high ranking positions with the Music Managers’ Forum and The Australian Entertainment Agents Association.
What is your greatest professional achievement?
Booking and tour managing an NYC act, whilst managing 6 original bands and getting them all signed to major record labels in the same year… without going prematurely grey!
What do you love about being a part of the ICMI team?
I truly feel like I belong, with a great team of friendly people whom I really like. It makes it easy and fun to go to work every day.
What do you like to do on the weekends?
Hanging out with my sons, watching the AFL (mainly St Kilda) and checking out bands and entertainment.
