Having been in a range of Sales, Marketing and General Management roles, both domestically and internationally for most of my working life, I have gained all kinds of useful knowledge: running conferences, strategy sessions, retreats, client events, product launches, award functions… you name it, I’ve done it – both as an attendee and an organizer.
I have now represented ICMI for more than 20 years, so can claim real expertise of ‘both sides of the fence’, across Australia and internationally.
The challenge of perfectly matching my clients’ requirements with our extensive listings is what I love doing. It’s a great thrill when you find the right talent for the right event.
What is your greatest professional achievement?
Professionally, I’ve worked in four states of Australia as well as overseas. Every place was a great experience. I’m very lucky to do what I do.
What I love about being a part of the ICMI team
I love being at ICMI as I was an attendee at conferences/in-house retreats/Awards ceremonies for many years and that experience from the other side is of real relevance in supplying talent to functions of all types. I know what clients look for because I was a client once, too.
What I like to do on weekends
Lots of family time. It recharges my batteries.
