Brad Scott
Entrepreneur chemist, recycler and manufacturer, and founder and director of Transmutation
Founder and Director of Transmutation, Brad Scott was doing science in his shed in regional South Australia and came up with a world first way to make unrecycable powder coat waste into a new plastic.
He started with an empty shed and an idea 5 years ago and now has a thriving recycling, manufacturing and retail business known around Australia for its innovation.
Homewares made from used Breadtags that retail through Country Road or construction products made from Dulux powder coat paint and agricultural waste all emerge from his workshop where even the machines are made out of old recycled ovens and car jacks.
