- Anna Healey was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS) at the age of 28 and she speaks about how the self-confessed "laziest person on the earth" was able to turn adversity into opportunity and how setting small, achievable goals can lead you to achievements you never imagined.
- Anna is a wife, mother, secondary school drama teacher, writer and international class gold medal winning sailor - a woman who challenges herself everyday and on exceptional days takes calculated risks and parasails, jet skis, parachutes or just flies a glider for the afternoon. All of this she does from a seated position having been confined to a wheelchair due to Multiple Sclerosis.
- A truly inspirational presentation, Anna Healey will remind you that every moment is worthwhile and every day a gift to be unwrapped and enjoyed.

Anna's inspirational story of turning adversity into opportunity.
Anna is a wonderful story teller who has a powerful story to share with her audience. Willing to poke fun at herself, add humour, together with personal tragedy combine to share a narrative of adversity and triumph.

Feedback from participants has been very positive and enthusiastic. Not only did Anna have a great story to tell, she also had "street cred" with her audience. For many teachers, this is often an important factor. Anna's presentation contributed to a very successful event.
Fountain Gate Cluster
Anna was a good speaker and 'hit the right note' in that her delivery suited the occasion. Participants comments on the evening were that Anna 'was an inspiration', 'she reminded me that not all teachers whinge all the time' (!) and for at least one individual, Anna made her feel that 'being just a middle-aged Mum doesn't have to be the sum total of my life'.
Anna was a delight, straight from the heart she drew everyone in and her humour, sincerity and openness was a joy.
Banyule City Council
Excellent. Wonderful, it was just a pity we could not get more to attend, as those who were there were very impressed.

Having been assured that Anna would entertain an audience, I can testify that she did this and more. Anna captivates her audience with an address that leaves people of all ages sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for more. Anna Healey is an inspiration and a joy to listen to.
Wodonga Catholic College
Anna Healey was a delight. I have been to many a VIEW Gala over the years and never have I seen the guest speaker receive a standing ovation and only once at one of our Annual Conventions. Anna's natural and open approach to her life and disability had the ladies laughing and shedding a tear or two, we all came away saying "we can do it", her courage was felt by all.
