As a survivor of forced removal from her family at age 10, she uses her experiences and truth to champion human rights and create a better future.

With a Law and Social Work degree and First-class honours thesis from the University of New South Wales, Vanessa's critical thinking and consultancy provide fresh perspectives for change.

Honored with the Australian Human Rights Medal, she is recognized as one of 10 Changemakers and a member of the Power Generation of emerging Indigenous leaders. Vanessa's forthcoming book, "Long Yarn Shot," enlightens and unites people in the history and shared learning experience of Australia.
