Tim has been hosting events of all sizes for three decades. By day, he is the Senior Communications Advisor at the Local Government Association of Queensland, but previously spent 25 years as an award-winning broadcaster on ABC Radio – a destiny foreseen by his grandmother, who said Tim had been ‘vaccinated with a gramophone needle’.

He is equally at home with heavyweight topics and lighter material and makes sure event organisers, sponsors and patrons alike leave satisfied. Before doing five years with ABC Radio in Brisbane and across QLD, he presided over Statewide Mornings in Tasmania - covering everything from the Beaconsfield mine rescue to bushfires (t)here and in Victoria - and on national programs across the day and night.

Tim has been the ABC's Broadcaster of the Year and won the prestigious Keith Welsh Award for his "outstanding contribution" to journalism, among many others.
