As an AFL player who achieved team success with the Hawthorn Football Club ,he was a key member of 8 Grand Finals (5day and 3 night) for 5 Premiership victories.
His second pathway was born out of the 80's where all players were expected to hold down jobs as well as playing elite sport and Terry excelled more than most. As someone who had evolved through a sales background he was rewarded by PBL Marketing/ Kerry Packers family business as the inaugural State Sales Manager of the first Satellite television network in Australia, Sky Channel born out of GTV 9.
In over a century of our great game there have only been 15 men who have been involved in over 500 games as a player and coach and Terry achieved this in 2009.
In 2000 Terry was awarded the Australian Medal by the then Prime Minister John Howard for his contribution to sport and combining this with his knowledge of the Sales industry we thought he would be an ideal person to speak to your team.
