Neil Cross has spent more than four decades in the media industry working across television, radio, newspapers and online.

He initially reported on courts, politics and police rounds as well as various other areas but his passion was always in sport.

He began his career in Brisbane before moving to Adelaide, eventually joining the ABC in 1998.

In 27 years at the ABC, Neil worked as a sports reporter, producer and presenter as well as hosting and commentating a variety of sports and programs on radio and television.

He was the face of the ABC’s SANFL television coverage for 13 years and was part of the AFL radio calling team for eight years.
