Moana Hope has been a powerhouse of women's football since the age of 16.

A dynamic forward, Moana Hope has patrolled the forward fifty for over 10 years and has regularly amassed large hauls of goals throughout the seasons. This includes 74 goals in 2006, 67 goals in 2007, 71 goals in 2008, 40 goals in 2012, 87 goals in 2014, and 68 goals in 2015.

In 2016, Moana Hope became the first female player in history to kick 100 goals, finishing with 104 goals in just 18 games during the home and away season.

She has been at the forefront of the AFL league after being signed as Collingwood’s marquee player and has quickly been idolised by many football and non football followers not only due to the exceptional player she is, but also due to her amazing story which went to air on ABC’s Australian Story.

Moana Hope’s story is one of emotion, however the underlying theme is her steely determination to not let anything get the better of her, and to be a leader of those around her through her tremendous determination.
