- Mark's story
Mark’s fairytale journey from Queanbeyan kid to world class athlete is an enthralling and entertaining story, full of inspiration and amusing anecdotes. It’s a story that Mark turned into an International best-selling autobiography entitled Aussie Grit and is now sharing with audiences as an after-dinner, keynote, fire-side and motivational speaker.
Throughout his racing career, for his team and personal sponsors, Mark has participated in countless Q&A sessions, company talks, promotional and marketing event days and media interviews and is known for being a consummate professional and loyal ambassador. His ability to step into any environment and develop an easy rapport with audiences large and small is one of his best assets as an orator.
The cut-throat and high-risk world of Formula One and over twenty years of media scrutiny and competition and within high-pressure team environments has given Mark a wealth of experience to draw upon and impart. His knowledge of what it takes to be successful as well as coping with difficulty and disappointment parallels as well with corporate environments as it does with troubled youths.
