As a result, Judge Pallaras has been described as a “Champion of Human Rights in the Pacific’.
  • His success as an advocate has seen him honoured nationally by his elevation to Queen’s Counsel, he has been the recipient of awards from two international jurisdictions (the U.S.A. and the Kingdom of the Netherlands) and he has received further international acclaim by being appointed as Vice President of the International Association of Prosecutors and also by being appointed to the Executive Committee of the International Association of Anti-Corruption Authorities. He was also honoured by the University of South Australia with the position of Adjunct Professor of Law.
