Ellia Green OAM was one of the stars of international Rugby 7s for close to a decade.

An Olympic gold medallist from the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, Ellia announced their retirement from the sport in 2021.

In February, Ellia and partner Vanessa welcomed daughter Waitui, with Ellia identifying as Waitui's father.

Said Ellia recently: 'To be free in my body and my identity is the most liberating feeling. To show my baby that I was brave enough to take the steps to become who I am and always have been.'
