Biography

Cosentino, the international magician of the year, is now firmly established as one of the biggest and most popular entertainers in Australia.

In his own unique and award-winning style, Cosentino fuses traditional sleight of hand magic, grand illusions and physical demonstrations into cutting edge presentations. He escapes the boundaries of the past and performs the most original and progressive effects witnessed today. Considered an entertainment pioneer and the catalyst for the resurgence in magic's popularity in Australia, 2013 was a break out year for Cosentino that featured in top rating TV shows, sold out tours and the release of his signature magic kit.

Cosentino was the first Australian magician in history to have his own prime-time television specials on a commercial network. He has now written, produced and starred in 9 top rating specials which were viewed by over 6.1m people nationwide (OzTam ratings). These extraordinary TV specials have been embraced internationally and have now been broadcast in Spain, India, South East Asia, New Zealand and Latin America.

In 2013 Cosentino was bestowed an incredible honour, with his official acknowledgement as the 'Magician of the Year' by the International Magicians Society, New York (the International Merlin Award). This prestigious recognition is the highest honour in magic with past recipients including David Copperfield, Criss Angel and Penn & Teller.He was presented The Levante Award (Australian Magic Forum) and The Brand Laureate Award (Malaysia) acknowledging his contributions to the world of illusion across Asia. 

Cosentino's impressive resume of success also includes: runner up Australia's Got Talent 2011; Winner of Dancing with the Stars Australia 2013; a Guinness World Record holder and Winner of the Most Original International Magician 2012 by the International Magicians Society.

To add extra strings to his already talented bow, Cosentino starred in the Jackie Chan film ‘Bleeding Steel’ in 2018, and wrote a best-selling autobiography 'Anything Is Possible', which was released not only in Australia, but also New Zealand, Asia and the UK. He has also created an animated book series 'The Mysterious World of Cosentino', which is not only a best-seller, but has also been released in the USA, China, the UK and right across South East Asia.
