Wendy Fedele brings a uniquely thoughtful and human-centred approach to her work at ICMI. Drawing on her background as a clinician, private practitioner and university lecturer, she understands how to translate expertise into results, and she applies that same skill when pairing organisations with the right talent. Known for her warmth, clarity and strategic thinking, Wendy builds strong relationships with both clients and speakers, taking the time to understand an event’s purpose, audience and desired outcome. It’s this blend of insight, care and professionalism that makes her a trusted partner in curating speakers and experiences that resonate with audiences.
What is your greatest professional achievement?
My proudest achievement would have to be building my women’s health practice from scratch. It started as a small idea and grew into a trusted, highly regarded clinic where I had the privilege of supporting women through some very complex and high-stakes health goals. I loved collaborating closely with doctors, specialists and clients, and building long-term relationships based on care, honesty and results. Alongside that, I lectured in a Master of Dietetics program and contributed to research, which kept me connected to the science and constantly learning. Creating a trusted business known for genuine care and expertise was incredibly rewarding, and those same skills in listening, matchmaking and building strong relationships are exactly what I bring to my work at ICMI.
What I love about being part of the ICMI team
What I love most is the people and the purpose. ICMI is built on great relationships, trust and a genuine passion for connecting the right voices with the right audiences. There’s such a strong sense of collaboration and care, and its so clear that everyone wants the best outcome for clients and speakers. There’s a real joy in helping bring those moments to life. It’s meaningful work, it’s interesting work, and every day feels different. I love being part of that.
What I like to do on weekends Weekends are all about family, fresh air and slowing down. We’re on the Mornington Peninsula, so most weekends involve a beach walk, an ocean swim, or grabbing a matcha somewhere local with my husband Ray (yes, that Ray!) and our daughter Freja. I love cooking, reading, getting outdoors and just enjoying simple things — movement, good food and unhurried time with my people.
