Biography
With four amazing singers and an extensive list of songs, Suade is a great way to get the party started.
Over the past 15 years, Suade has developed a strong reputation as Australia’s best a cappella group. Their reputation is not just based on their amazing sound, but also on their energetic stage performance and their cheeky sense of humour.
Based in Melbourne, they have performed at countless venues across Australia, including festivals, concerts, workshops and corporate events. The group also tours regularly overseas, including recent trips to Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia. They have had particular success in South Korea where the Australian Ambassador invites them to perform several times each year, and have performed live on many of Asia's biggest television networks.
Suade’s latest show incorporates VocalTronics: a blend of old-school a cappella with world-first technology. This includes multi-microphone live-looping and effects which may never have been used before. With this technology, they’re able to split their four voices into as many as 40, as well as opening up new soundscape possibilities.
Nothing is pre-recorded, there's no band or backing tracks. Everything completely live and completely vocal, so anything could happen on a given night. One thing's for sure though - Suade ALWAYS puts on one heck of an entertaining show.
With big personalities, sharp outfits, snappy dance moves and energy as big as their voices, this is a high-impact, low-stress, versatile and professional act with a wealth of experience on all kinds of stages.
From intimate private performances, to large corporate, outdoor, festival and stadium shows, Suade consistently delivers a standout performance that people will rave about.
TEAMBUILDING / ICE-BREAKER WORKSHOPS
Suade's ability to energise and focus an event with their well-proven team-building workshops is astounding - Managers can become rock gods, secretaries can shred the guitar solo, and sales teams can become the backing singers and dancers in their own spectacular production.
Suade uses music to let participants step outside their comfort zone and work together in a fast-paced, high energy team environment that will promote creativity, bravery and expression.
With over a decade of workshop experience both locally and abroad, Suade is the perfect addition to your product launch, change management conference, business integration or retreat.
In the lead-up to an event we survey the company representatives about the themes, goals, attitudes and objectives of their conference / retreat. We use this information to produce a song for the event, including a studio-produced instrumental track, and a pre-written chorus which will be completed in consultation with the company representatives.
Participants will be split into groups and will complete a series of fun, energising and challenging exercises to help complete the song: Lyric writing, Melody construction, and Physical Presentation. Once all the groups have tried their hand at all of these activities, we will record and film the group performing their very own song. Managers can become rock gods, secretaries can shred the guitar solo, and sales teams can become the backing singers and dancers in their own spectacular production.
As well as an amazing team building exercise, the participants can be given an audio and video recording of the whole experience - making the whole experience a lasting and memorable exercise.
In addition to the four facilitators, the project requires a additional team of technicians - a camera man, a sound technician, a lighting technician and some additional hours in production. All up, we could run three different workshops:
Bronze Package (2 hours) Goals: complete and perform a song as a team.

Testimonials
Suade were great value for having four guys singing, they were extremely professional in their conduct and very well organised. A pleasure to work with and I cannot wait to organise another major event where we can use them. These guys turned the event on its head with an outstanding performance, which had people rocking on the dance floor. They had people laughing and other times just enjoying seriously good music – pure pleasure was had by all who heard them.
Louise Lucas (Destiny Financial Solutions)
WOW! You guys were fantastic!!! Thank you so much for such an entertaining performance and our best ever National Anthem. You hit the headlines in Albury – WIN and Prime TV and a mention in the Border Mail news! Well done! We hope you had as much fun as we did listening and watching. Thanks! You guys rock!!
Renate Griese (AlburyCity)
Many thanks again for the wonderful entertainment you provided at our Practitioners Conference……as indicated, the feedback has been excellent and none better than what you received suggesting you should be at the National Conference in Sydney in August. High praise indeed and just what we hoped would have happened!
Carole Gregson (Conference Business Manager, NESA)
Suade were absolutely sensational! They helped to make our client’s launch event a spectacular, fun-filled evening and injected an entertaining mix of music and comedy into the night. Everyone was raving about them afterwards. The only complaint (and it’s not a complaint), is that the time they were performing flew by and before we knew it, the last song was being sung…. they were just so enthralling and so much fun. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Suade to anyone who wants to add a unique and extraordinarily memorable touch to their next event.
Kerryn Nelson (Managing Director, Big Mouth Communications)
We have found Suade to be extremely professional, reliable and exceptionally versatile according to our client needs, and our audiences have always thoroughly enjoyed their shows. I would have no hesitation in recommending Suade as a highly professional group of performers and look forward to working with them again in the future.

I've just spoken to our client and she couldn't stop raving about your performance. She said that you knocked the socks off the entire audience and was very impressed by the added research and comments you made about the Nurse Association. They loved the element of surprise incorporated into the performance and thought you were all world-class performers. It was a pleasure working with you and I look forward to working with you again in the future!
Sarah Firth (MTA Entertainment and Events)
When a client asked us to create an event to launch their new range of products and announce the opening of their new Australian office - with the brief being that it had to be memorable, classy, fun and have lots of ‘wow factor’ - we knew exactly who we needed for the entertainment… Suade. We weren’t wrong. The Suade guys were absolutely sensational. They had everyone captivated - from the moment they first started to sing, to when they took their final bows. Their unique mix of harmony, melody and comedy was both supremely entertaining and incredibly professional and they added their own ‘wow factor’ to the evening. Our clients and their guests have been singing Suade’s praises ever since. I would not hesitate in recommending Suade to anyone who wants to inject some musical fun and entertainment into any event and I look forward to working with the Suade team again in the future. Thanks guys for an outstanding job!

I am pleased to inform you that Suade was voted ‘Artist of the Festival’ by an overwhelming majority. If you want the "House Full" sign to go up, hire Suade. Talk about engaging an audience; these guys have got it in spades. And their sound is to die for. Serious fun with a minimum of fuss, just a whole lot of professionalism.
Rollo Kiek (Director, Mount Beauty Music Festival)
Suade has an immense capacity for adaption. Whether it's an intimate cabaret for 50 or singing Taiwanese in a 2,000-seat auditorium in Taiwan, they read their audience and adapt accordingly to deliver world-class entertainment every time.
David Reed, Director (Melbourne Cabaret Festival)
You guys are the number one male a cappella band in Australia. I wish I could be there to see the look on everyone’s faces when they hear the new recorded Suade goodness
Deke Sharon (Pitch Perfect, Sing-Off)
The amazing talents and wonderful demeanour of these Aussie “blokes” was certainly well received. Suade were so easy to work with from the initial booking process and the ease of coordinated oranisation of the actual event. At both the events, they worked to ensure that their performance suited the style of the events, and the crowds were thrilled with their impressive showmanship and intricate harmonies.
