Steve Moneghetti was the first external speaker we have used at our National Sales Conferences since they began over 13 years ago. Based on the extent of the positive reaction we observed across the entire Sales & Marketing teams, I wish we had invited him sooner!
Steve had clearly done his homework; he was able to draw such a powerful correlation between his extensive achievements in the world of long distance running and the challenges of life in sales/business; his viewpoint on recognising human potential was timely and insightful; his real-life experiences around the tangible link between effort, skill and success were so relevant; his definition of leadership from within the team resonated with all of our current and - I am sure - future leadership group. Steve was passionate, proud, humorous and inspiring and a living, breathing example of good things coming to those who are prepared to demonstrate appropriate levels of sustained commitment. Add to these qualities the fact that Steve is an extremely approachable guy and you have the perfect speaker - be it for an after dinner presentation or as part of a day-time conference. I had also heard that Steve would welcome post-presentation discussion with the delegates - suffice to say, he was almost one of the last to leave! And if there is anyone with a better memory for names, I am yet to meet them! I am indebted to Steve for the professionalism he demonstrated in planning, preparing and executing his presentation and would wholly recommend Steve to any organisation who is seeking to locate a top quality speaker.
