Mia Freedman was the keynote speaker at the Association for Women in Insurance NSW Spring Luncheon in October 2016. Mia was very well received by over 500 members and guests with a very funny and thought provoking insight into many issues that affect our day to day lives. Our audience enjoyed rare insight into what goes on behind the scenes of social media, fashion shoots and mainstream media.  Mia showed us how things are not always quite as they seem, once you scratch the surface! Mia was an amazing co-host for Instagram at our #MyStoryAU launch. She was quick on the brief, highly responsive for all of the prep, and totally understood what she had to do and, most importantly, delivered on the night. The #MyStoryAU initiative invited Australian women to tell their stories on Instagram. Our Chief Operating Officer Marne Levine was visiting from Instagram’s headquarters. We needed a co-host that was strong on substance and style and Mia was both. Her insights about the changing role for women’s voices and spaces for women’s stories, brought about by social media, tying in her personal experiences, was so relevant and wow-ed the crowd. The Instagram story she shared about her husband leaning in so that Mia could attend the event was also so relevant and impactful, and left an indelible and positive impression on the audience and on our COO.

We just wanted to tell you how very happy we were to have Mia Freedman as MC for our Lindt Christmas media launch, which consisted of a Christmas lunch for approximately 70 lifestyle and food media. Mia fitted in immediately as if she was part of the Lindt team. She made a great effort to understand exactly what we were expecting from her and ensured that  she would convey the key marketing messages in a fun and entertaining way.
