I was first introduced to the world of talent management working in TV Production as a talent booker. It was this fast introduction into the industry that helped shape my love of logistics, people management, and operations.
What is your greatest professional achievement?
Driven by a love of entrepreneurship, you could say my achievements to date have been colourful. From creating a successful dog cake business to managing operations for a New Zealand–based construction company, my greatest achievement to date is a honed ability to balance a fast-paced career with my family’s priorities. A proud Mum of two, my children’s social calendars are just as important as my own, and I take great pride in balancing their growing interests with my own.
What do you love about being a part of the ICMI team?
Working as a Contracts and Travel Coordinator for the Melbourne-based ICMI team in 2015, I quickly came to know and love my fellow teammates like a second family. After returning to New Zealand in 2016, regular catch ups with my Australian team meant I was able to stay engaged with the variety and excitement the industry offers and stay in touch with my colleagues.
From the commitment of maintaining a flexible work-life balance to meeting and being entertained by some of the world’s best talent, I find myself constantly in awe of the inspiring people I meet and how resilient they are.
What do you like to do on the weekends?
From long treks with our two dogs to enjoying the playground with my husband and kids, weekends are family-filled and fun. Although, being sprawled on the couch with all five would be my ideal weekend!
