A wrap up of a truly unique presentation by Peter Sharp

An early morning start at Citadines on Bourke Street saw over 100 attendees enjoy a tasty breakfast and caffeine fix whilst enjoying plenty of networking and chatter before streaming into the spacious function room.

After a brief introduction from co-hosts Citadines and ICMI, the irrepressible Peter Sharp came bounding and dancing his way onto centre stage.

Peter Sharp is the founder of The Liberators International, a global network spreading the power of positive. His happiness experiments have gone viral receiving more than 100 million views, illustrating how small changes can make a difference.

During his presentation, Peter explained how he would give us brief examples and involve us in three important themes, namely: the power of human connection, daring to be vulnerable, and stepping outside of your comfort zone.

Within minutes, he was able to get people connecting on a deeper level, often with strangers, helping break down the barriers that separate us.

With the aid of stirring video images and three simple yet powerful interactive audience exercises, Peter had audience members at various stages crying, laughing and hugging.

To top it off, his presentation ended with a dance party, which saw everyone up out of their seats showing off their best dance moves.

Peter’s unique presentation left the audience feeling uplifted, positive and with a spring in their step! which was confirmed in conversations with attendees after the event who all commented that it was a wonderful way to start the day… I mean seriously, what better way to start the day than with a dance party?!
