Visiting International Speakers
Michelle Ray (AUGUST 2010)
|
Dates in Australia: August 2010
Michelle Ray is a highly sought-after international keynote speaker, author and seminar leader who demonstrates a deep understanding of the consequences of low morale, lacklustre service and ineffective leadership in the workplace. Born in Australia, Michelle began her career in the media industry during the recession of the early 80's. She was once told by management that she "didn't have what it takes" to succeed in the business world. With self- doubt and a lack of mentors, Michelle was inspired to create her own successful international business. She speaks passionately about the impact of attitude in the workplace, the importance of outstanding leadership and the responsibility of positive communication and influence.
A “Certified Speaking Professional”, a designation held by less than 10% of members of the National Speakers’ Association, Ray has already been listed in the 2005 “Who’s Who” of Professional Speakers, and was awarded the “Presentation Mastery Award” as the Presenter of the Year 2004 for the Vancouver Chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers. In 2003 she was recognized as the top speaker in Canada for the world’s largest international public seminar company. Her own company, Walkabout Seminars International, was listed by Business in Vancouver as one of the top management training companies in Vancouver in 2002 and 2003.
Michelle’s clients include numerous associations, government departments, and the healthcare sector, small business and corporations. Her motivating keynotes and interactive workshops have a thought-provoking, amusing, common sense message. Her limitless energy, masterful use of humour and down to earth approach has earned her respect and appreciation by clients around the world. Michelle Ray’s depth of knowledge and powerful message is guaranteed to energize, inform and inspire workplaces across the globe!

Azim Khamise 16th - 28th Sep
|
Azim Khamisa is an inspiration. Hailed by dignitaries such as the Dalai Llama, Bill Clinton and Al Gore, Azim delivers his inspirational message to a world in desperate need of forgiveness, peace and hope.
Following the murder of his only son Tariq in 1995 through a senseless, gang-related incident, Azim chose the path of forgiveness and compassion rather than revenge, and this amazing choice led to the establishment of the Tariq Khamisa Foundation (TKF) and the subsequent forgiveness movement which has reached millions.
A renowned international speaker, Azim has spoken to audiences of adults, juveniles and children, ranging from small schools, to large corporations, to audiences into the thousands, including – on the occasion of a rally in Washington DC in 1996 – a crowd of 300,000.
Through the work of TKF, a half-million children have seen him speak in person, with another 20 million being touched by his message through video presentations. The public has also heard his uplifting message via print, audio, video and television. A recipient of 60 prestigious regional, national and international awards, Azim’s focus remains on his vision of a peaceful, non-violent world where adults and children alike make empowering choices. Highlighted on national media such as NBC’s Today Show and Nightly News and People Magazine, Azim has authored three books including the award-winning From Murder to Forgiveness and the Random House book The Secrets of the Bulletproof Spirit, coauthored with Jillian Quinn.
In his keynote speeches - of which he has given over 400 - Azim covers a diverse arena of topics, including successful management teams, forgiveness, responses to terrorism, restorative justice, compassionate relationships and conflict resolution – with each one customized specifically for his audience.
Invite him to speak at your corporation, organization or gathering, and be moved, motivated and inspired.
