Athletics high flyer John Steffensen is one of the nation’s most well-known athletes, having won more international medals that any other Australian men’s sprinter.

John competed in three Olympic Games (2004, 2008 and 2012), as well as the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne where he won dual gold.

Currently John appears as a co-host on Nine’s Wide World of Sports. He is on the board of directors of Athletics Australia, is an ambassador and on the taskforce for the 2030 Commonwealth games bid for greater Victoria. He is also the founder of Nitro Athletics.
