Damian Brown is an inspiring personality with exceptional sporting, business and life achievement. He captivates his audience with great insight into ‘success’ that transcends sport into business, education and life in general.
Damian competed at, three Olympics and four Commonwealth Games (4 Gold, 1 Silver & 3 Bronze medals), in Weightlifting, and at twelve consecutive World Championships (a World Record). He was the Australian Team Flag Bearer for the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
Damian is a Director of Katapult Pty Ltd, his own promotional products company, with a $1 million turnover in its first year in 2004. Other positions included; General Manager Olympic Communicators; and Manager, Program Development, Olympic Job Opportunities Program; plus, six-years Secondary School Teaching experience.
Damian has a Masters, a Post Graduate Diploma and a Bachelor of Education. His appointments are numerous, including, Chairman Athletes’ Commission and Board Member Australian Olympic Committee (2000 – 2004).
