Catherine Freeman is one of Australia's most admired and respected athletes.
Cathy's achievments began at such a young age, firstly when she wonGold at the Commonwealth Games.
In 1990 She was awarded with the great honor of Young Australian of the Year and blessed further with Aboriginal Athlete of the Year in 1991. She was also the first Aboriginal track and field athlete to represent Australia at an Olympic Games.
