Brennon Dowrick is Australia's most successful male gymnast. He is a dual Olympian and dual Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist. An accomplished public speaker, Brennon regularly gives motivational and entertaining speeches and gymnastics displays to corporate and public groups. Brennon holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Canberra.
Brennon Dowrick was the sole Australian representative at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Four years later in Atlanta 1996, Brennon produced a sensational performance to qualify for the finals where he recorded Australia's highest ever Olympic result. Brennon is on track to represent Australia at his third Olympics in Sydney 2000.
Over three Commonwealth Games, Brennon has won 11 medals for Australia. His greatest success was winning the Gold medal on the Pommel Horse in the 1990 Auckland Commonwealth Games and the 1994 Victoria Island, Canada Commonwealth Games.
Brennon has represented Australia at an incredible 7 World Championships, his first in 1989 as an 18 year old, and the most recent in 1999, at the age of 28.
Brennon has used his experiences in international competition, travel and training to provide motivational and entertaining speeches to an enormous variety of groups on a regular basis. Brennon's speeches can be tailored to any situation and group and can also include a spectacular display on the pommel horse which has proven to be extremely popular.
