A former cricketer and New Zealand Cricket captain during New Zealand most successful cricketing era, since retirement as a professional cricketer, Jeremy has become one of the most popular After-Dinner Speakers in New Zealand.
Jeremy is also well known on television in a number of roles including as the host of A Question of Sport, a presenter on the travel program Holiday and as Television One's Sports Commentator.
His cricketing career culminated in his captaincy of the New Zealand team, an MBE for service to Cricket in 1986, and a benefit season in New Zealand and England 1986/87.
Since publishing his book "The Playing Mantis" in 1986, Jeremy has become a familiar voice as a Commentator for Radio New Zealand, including his triumphant tour to India in 1988 where he saved the day for New Zealand at Bangalor by stepping in as a replacement for those stricken with "Delhi-Belly".
Jeremy once said he first captained New Zealand when he was four, playing tennis ball cricket in his street. The dream he had for cricket, the passion with which he played it and the humour he brought to the game pervades Jeremy's presentations.
