Michael has taught more people to think than any Australian in history. He was Co-founder of the Edward de Bono School of Thinking in New York in 1979. Now based in Melbourne the School of Thinking lessons are exported from Melbourne to over 40 countries every day and have already reached over 70 million people worldwide since 1979. Based in New York for 14 years (1974-1989), the United States Government described Dr Hewitt-Gleeson as a "national asset".
Dr Hewitt-Gleeson does events and public appearances and designs in-house programs for corporate clients. Renowned as the inventor of cognetics, the first real software for the brain, he is the author of Newsell, a reflection of the new values sweeping the community that place value on participation rather than observation, cooperation over confrontation and the means rather than the end.
