Tim Cox is in his seventh year on Statewide Mornings and he reckons he's just about used to the early starts and all that talking. Next up for Coxy: listening... Almost halfway to Tasmanian citizenship (17 years and counting), Tim loves that Mornings takes him to places he's yet to visit, and to people he hopes to meet; whether or not they reciprocate is another matter.
Tim's dozen or so years with ABC Radio in Tasmania bookend three years of hosting a number of national programs including Early Mornings, the Night Life and weekend Evenings. He's also popped up right across the afternoon and evening on ABC Radio's annual summer programs. Tim is also much sought after as a speaker and facilitator, and has just contributed a chapter to the internationally renowned Insight Guide's forthcoming book on Tasmania. And, yes, he looks a lot like George Clooney, doesn't he?
