Kerri-Anne, affectionately known as KAK, has been one of Australia’s favourite faces since her first appearance on television in 1963. She has worked in a variety of different roles in the entertainment industry, from cabaret singer to radio station CEO.

Born in Sandgate, a working class suburb of Brisbane, Kerri Anne was brought up in a hard-working family with a strong work ethic, which she believes has helped her overcome the “speed bumps" which occur in everyone’s life from time to time.

Kerri-Anne wanted to perform for as long as she can remember and singing in a local group led to her first TV appearance on kids’ television show 'Everybody In'. Her persistence resulted in a job co-hosting the program. After hosting the Saturday show, Kerri-Anne went solo, touring the world as a cabaret singer. She lived and worked in New York for several years, where she met her husband, John Kennerley. “Meeting him was the biggest turning point in my life" she says. John’s decision to move to Australia brought Kerri-Anne home again and they became the first couple to marry at the Opera House in Sydney.

After a brief period acting in Aussie soap 'The Restless Years', Kerri-Anne landed a job as the presenter of 'Good Morning Australia'. “It was luck," she says, “but I wanted it to work and I worked hard at it. I’ve always found that you make your own luck".

She co-hosted the show for 11 years and became a household name. After GMA finished, Kerri-Anne achieved her long time ambition to host 'Midday', which became the most watched daytime program in Australia.

Now presenting 'Mornings With Kerri-Anne', she has brought the KAK factor back to morning television, combining her love of fabulous frocks and shoes with irreverent interviews with Australia’s VIPs and a caring attitude to the issues facing her audience.

Kerri-Anne is a survivor. She has negotiated changes in her career with style, dignity and hard work and has encompassed over three decades of news, lifestyle and variety programming with equal aplomb. “I’m still here because I love what I do" she explains.

She is always a complete professional and the Australian public love her because she’s not afraid to send up her glamorous image. “Life doesn’t hand you things on a platter. You have to be prepared to work for them and that means having a goal and believing in it, and in yourself. If you don’t believe in your goals, then you have to find something you do believe in. How can you expect others to believe in you, if you don’t believe in yourself?"

'Mornings With Kerri-Anne' airs on Channel 9 each weekday morning from 9am to 11am.

Away from the media spotlight, Kerri-Anne is also a highly successful businesswoman. She is a board member of two publicly listed companies and is a tireless worker for charities. Life Energy', her first book was released to critical acclaim and added yet another achievement, that of best selling author.

Kerri-Anne's unique experience makes her an entertaining and informative speaker and she is one of the most sought after Master of Ceremonies in Australia.

Kerri-Anne has the capacity to raise awareness, generate sales and deliver profile to companies and products with which she is associated. Her appeal across a broad demographic makes any relationship with Kerri-Anne an attractive proposition.
