Helen Razer is an opinion writer whose works on culture and technology appear regularly in The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald, online periodical Crikey and ABC Unleashed. Her humour column has appeared in The Big Issue since 2002. She contributes to The Australian Literary Review, Rolling Stone and other outlets as a writer of arts and culture content.
From 1990 until 1998, Razer was a prominent weekday broadcaster on ABC’s youth network Triple J. For much of this decade, she was the presenter of a weekly arts program on ABC Local Radio’s 774.
Razer has been a speaker and MC at public events since 1992. Her areas of expertise include traditional and emerging media, unorthodox thinking and social justice.
