Speaker Helen Dalley

Helen's broad experience in journalism includes being a sports writer for The National Times newspaper and beauty editor for The Australian Women's Weekly. In 1981 she accepted a posting in New York as the correspondent for magazines such as The Bulletin, The Women's Weekly, Cleo and Australian Business.

During this time she completed a brief, intensive business journalism course at Columbia University and returned to Australia in 1983 to work full-time on Australian Business magazine as a reporter.

In 1986 Helen became a founding member of the Nine Network's Business Sunday as a reporter, interviewer and occasional presenter for the program. She has also hosted The Today Show, A Current Affair Summer Edition, Midday and has been part of Nine's Federal Election coverage.
