Speaker George Donikian

News presenter George Donikian joined Adelaide’s Ten News in 1991. George is currently the anchor for Network Ten's Adelaide News, having been involved in radio and television for more than 20 years and is highly respected in the industry.

He commenced his media career as a radio announcer in rural Queensland and was soon lured in a southerly direction, eventually arriving at Sydney’s 2WS where he performed as an announcer, newsreader and sports reporter.  George then moved to Sydney’s newest commercial station 2WS in 1979, where he performed as an announcer, newsreader and sports reporter.
