In his role as “Cactus” on award winning radio show, “The Four Diegos”, Chris can be heard each Monday to Thursday night on Melbourne’s only 24-hour sports radio station, 1116 SEN. Chris was given the name “Cactus” because he is not afraid to ask the tough questions, and is willing to give his opinion on any issues in soccer at the time.

Entertaining the masses since 1994, “The Four Diegos” have, over the years,

tapped into a market they can proudly call their own. Fast paced, entertaining and innovative, the “The Four Diegos” are one of 1116 SEN’s most listened to and popular shows. In true Aussie tradition, “The Four Diegos” have forged a reputation for off-beat commentary and a unique way of talking about the world game.

Since 2002 “The Four Diegos” have transcended domestic broadcasting boundaries through their internationally acclaimed website: www.fourdiegos.com. “The Four Diegos” is one of the only international media outlets that regularly interviews world stars, such as Ian Rush, Kenny Dalglish and Harry Kewell; and some of Australia’s top celebrities, such as Eddie McGuire, Jeff Kennett and George Negus.

In Chris’ role as the media manager for NRL powerhouse the Melbourne Storm, he has been interviewed numerous times on various radio and television shows, including Channel 9’s “Sunday Footy Show” and Craig Harper’s Channel 31 program “Living Life Now”. He also has a personal insight into the life of a professional athlete, and is the game day on-ground announcer for the Melbourne Storm, regularly talking live-to-camera in front of crowds of 15,000 people.

Apart from his “Four Diegos” and Melbourne Storm duties, Chris has MC’d many large events, including the 2006 New Zealand Rugby League Fan Day in City Square and the 2006 Rugby League State-of-Origin corporate event at Telstra Dome in 2006.

Chris has the perfect balance of professionalism and personality, with a calm and demeanour that would compliment and enhance any event.
