               My name is Emma Sweet of Cranbourne Secondary College in Melbourne, Victoria, I atteneded National Leadership Camp in Sydney this year, where you inspired many people including myself into transforming into a BIGGER person. NLC 2007 honestly changed my life, my outlook on life and you were a big part of this. Early 2007 i was elected year 11 leader for my school, i wasn't a very confident person, I had no goals for myself or any leadership skills to contribute to my school. I left NLC a completely different person, i suddenly had this new positive outlook on life, i had an empowering erge to try harder in school, to help those who seeked it, and above all i felt remorse for all the people i had turned a blind eye on. I come from a school that is blissfully unaware of these ways of life, i come from a school where my peers think of nothing but what they will wear and what they will drink on the weekend. Early on this week my peers voted me as one of our few school captains, and i feel it is my responsibility to attempt to educate these people on the positive ways of life. I have tried numerous times to try and explain to people why i came home a different person, but I nor my fellow attending students have prevailed.
