Henry completed a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Natal and Master of Business Administration at Cape Town University. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. As a founding partner at Higgins Botha, he has been involved in accountancy, finance and management consulting for most of his career.
As a founding partner at Higgins Botha, Henry has conducted financial management training courses on behalf of corporate clients (including Hills Industries and Boeing), government departments (including the Federal Department of Finance and Administration) and educational institutions (including The University of South Australia).
Henry has also undertaken financial benchmarking studies and reviews for numerous clients including Bedford Industries.
In addition to his work at Mt Eliza, Henry has lectured for the Australian Institute of Company Directors and The University of Adelaide, Graduate School of Business. He has presented training courses inThailand, and lectured in both Singapore and China.
His areas of speciality include financial management, benchmarking and financial management training.
Henry Botha is currently on the Audit Committee of the Passenger Transport Board (PTB) in South Australia. The PTB has an annual budget of around $230M.
