It didn’t matter which side you were on, we all wanted to further Australia’s position into the 21st Century.”
A passionate and devoted Collingwood football fan since his childhood Eddie became president of the club in September 1998. In a move that made headlines around the country he and his four-man ticket took control in a bloodless coup.

The foundation was inaugurated to honour the memory of the St Kilda star that died after a courageous battle with cancer in 1996. Trevor and Eddie were close friends and he sees the foundation as a tangible way of keeping his mate’s memory alive.
