New Zealand born Iain Hewitson has been a chef/restaurateur for more than 35 years. During that period, he has owned many restaurants including, for the past 15 years, St Kilda icon Tolarno Bar & Bistro.
He has also fronted the lifestyle and cooking shows, “Healthy Wealthy and Wise”, “A Cook’s Journey” and “Huey’s Cooking Adventures” (which recently celebrated its 500th episode). “Huey’s Cooking Adventures” and his new show “Never Trust a Skinny Cook” can also be seen on Foxtel LifeStyle Channel, the Living Channel in New Zealand and Discovery in America, Europe, Vatican City and Asia Pacific.
As well, Iain Hewitson has a range of sauces, featuring his popular Kick Arse BBQ Sauce, and has written five books, including Tales and Recipes from a Travelling Cook (which has recently been reprinted in soft cover), The Huey Diet, Huey’s Greatest Hits (2002 Gourmand World Cookbook Award for "Best Book by a Television Chef" in English) and Huey’s Best Ever Barbecue Recipes.
