Elaine Canty is a Melbourne journalist, lawyer and former broadcaster.
For seven years she was the presenter of a popular daily current affairs and lifestyle talkback program on 3LO, interviewing decision makers, newsmakers, entertainers and people with ideas. She is a columnist and regular contributor to daily and weekly newspapers.
During her six years with ABC Sport Elaine hosted many sports events on television and produced and presented the international award-winning sports documentary series Inside the Back Page. Episodes from that series were used by the Federal Government in its “Drug Offensive” campaign against drugs in sport.
