Tom Potter has a natural business acumen that is demonstrated by his story.  After leaving school at 15 and finding himself unemployed at 23, Potter borrowed money to start a pizza shop.  His business enterprise quickly brought success and his Eagle Boys Dial-A-Pizza grew to have an annual turnover in excess of $110 million with over 150 stores across Australia.

On his path to success, Tom Potter gathered the business experience that positioned him to take on high profile operators in one of the most competitive industries.  From a basis of little education, no mentor, and very little financial support, Potter's drive and enthusiasm complemented a natural capacity for understanding business and what it takes to succeed. 

Young Business Person of the Year
Recognition came when Tom Potter was named Australian Financial Review’s 'Young Business Person of the Year'.  Tom Potter's most famous foray was to take on the multi-national Pizza Hut Corporation in a Federal Court battle over the true meaning of being 'Australian'.  Eagle Boys won the case and received nationwide support and press and media coverage.
