The Captain Spalding band is a five-piece band renewed for the front man and lead vocalist TOM SPALDING. The energetic front man with a Scottish accent and a infectious energy will, with their huge Melbourne following, they were voted Best Band by FOX FM, s ‘Best of Melbourne” bands category.
The band annually performs at many Corporate Functions and Special events together with regular Hotel Gigs. The band has a diverse repertoire of 70’s 80’s and 90’s Covers with an emphasis on dance and Party music.
Austin Powers Show:
The Captain Spalding Band have now added another string to their bow with this incredibly entertaining and original show based on the very popular Austin Powers Films. The band deliver a high energy and very entertaining performance which combines crazy costumes and on stage humour with all the great hits from the films and of the era. A real crowd pleaser!!
In May 2000 the band was asked to play this show at the Australian Hong Kong Association Dinner in Hong Kong. It was such a huge success they had been asked to play again in 2001.
