What can Geoff Paine do at your next conference or event?
'IS THIS YOUR LIFE?'
A mock history of a company or individual, they don't know what's going on until they get up on the stage. Using a series of images and pre-recorded video segments, we can tell anyone's story any way we like…. Approx 20 mins including scripted Power point slide show of digitally altered images.
‘BIG BAND SONG MEDLEY SPECTACULAR’
Including 6-9 re-written show tunes, tailored to that event and audience (can use in-house band; additional costs to have backing track recorded to CD. This price includes research and rehearsal time with band/dancers/crew, etc.)
'JERRY RINGER'
Comedy hypothetical with pre-recorded 'callers', dealing with any topic and tailored to that particular company or audience. Approx 20-40 minutes, depending on issues and number of 'callers'. Performed solo or with 2 actors as hoax guests.
'ACT NATURAL'
If you're trying to be natural, you have to 'act'; we all automatically change our behaviour depending on where we are and whom we are with. This workshop uses comic situations and performance skills to highlight the signals we send out all the time, and what they're saying. Using volunteers from the audience, I demonstrate the habits and nervous tics we show, and suggest a few techniques for overcoming these.
'CONTROL FREAKS'
Truly, the worlds worst PowerPoint presentation, performed by Geoff Paine and Ross Daniels. It's funny, interactive and can be re-written for the client to suit their audience. We do it all, the near death experience, appalling slides, gimmick philosophy and role-plays. Approx 50 minutes.
‘THE MEETING MEETING’
Another 'how not to' interactive presentation, where we act out what not to do in meetings to show how they can be made far more productive. A valuable learning tool, which is also entertaining. Approx 20 mins.
‘INTERACTIVE CHARACTER’
Imagine a boring video image coming to life and talking to the presenter from the screen; that's what an IC character can do - make an otherwise mundane presentation or event spontaneous and engaging. It also allows the issues raised which need airing in a fun way. Geoff will write the script to the client’s needs, injecting fun and humour throughout.
‘TEAM ACTIVITY; THE GREAT TREK’
Using the theme of a re-enactment across Australia, this successful event breaks the team into communities and sets them a task, which requires skills in leadership, delegation, and planning, logistics, budgeting and plain old hard work. The payoff is a 'national event' recorded live for everyone to enjoy. Ideal for a larger group looking for a team building exercise. Approx 60-90 minutes (depending on size of groups)
‘WHO WANTS TO BE A SQUILLIONAIRE?’
The multiple-choice game shows which not only gets the laughs but which makes the point. Geoff plays the host to a series of individuals, couples or teams who can Phone a Friend (yell out to the audience for help), Ask The Audience (yell out to the audience for help) or go Fifty-Fifty, where Geoff removes two options and puts the pressure on. Approx 20-30 minutes.
‘HOME MADE TV’
Split the group into teams and get them to record their own version of the companies TV show; then edit all the tapes together to show at the end of the event; funny and a great way to get teams to work together.
‘THE AD WORKSHOP’
Where we split large groups into teams to create TV radio and billboard ads for their company, products or services (this is a great exercise for working in teams, being creative and understanding the target markets). We have a 'pitching' contest, and the winner gets the account!
