Denise Drysdale began her career at GTV 9 when she was ten years old, during the Tarax Happy Show. She has worked in and around television since then.
in the 1960's, Denise appeared regularly on Graham Kennedy's IN MELBOURNE TONIGHT as a go-go dancer and singer. Denise also performed many comedy sketches on the popular late night show.
In the 1970's Denise worked on THE ERNIE SIGLEY SHOW and won the TV Week Logie for Most Popular Female personality on Australian TV...which was the first time a woman had won the coveted Gold Logie.
From 1998 to 2001 Denise had her own afternoon/morning program on the Channel Seven Network, ?Denise? immulating the successful Ernie & Denise format.
Denise Drysdale has also appeared occasionally back on stage ? for example in 1994 Denise returned to the stage (after a long absence) to perform in the production of "Hello Dolly" as Ernestine. She also continues to work as a popular performer on the Clubs circuit.
