It is one thing to book a comedian to entertain the guests at your function, it is something different to book an entertainer that will make you laugh for hours.
COMEDY WAITER
Imagine that as everyone arrives and the waiters are doing there thing that one waiter stands out from the crowd. He is a too friendly, over-zealous and definitely intent on making an impression. Being on work experience he is desperate to do a great job, in fact such a great job that he goes a little overboard.
For example, all the drinks on his tray - beer, wine, champagne, everything - have straws in them. When asked about it his retort is "we're a bit short on glasses so if you use the straws we don't have to wash them". Perhaps as he passes the chips and nuts he takes a few for himself, oblivious to the reaction of onlookers. If a guest asks about the finger food he thinks nothing of sampling it so it can be identified. Are any of your guests stressed? Watch them say "Me next!" when he starts doing shoulder massages! How will they react when he walks through the room with a fire door/gas cylinder/beer key or something ridiculous over his shoulder?
They will wonder about "the help", you will be laughing because you know it is Steve Davis, Australia's most versatile comedian making the most of any and every situation to entertain/confuse/amuse your guests!

COMEDIAN
After dinner is served (including the offer of either tomato sauce from a bulk container or fresh ground pepper with over-the-top presentation), Steve is "fired" by your boss. He then apologies by presenting a hilarious comedy cabaret show for around 45 minutes. Steve's stand-up comedy includes fire-eating, juggling, magic and the most interesting balloon animal ever created!
“GUERILLA COMEDY” – BREAKERS
Sometimes a conference needs something to give delegates a quick lift. Steve excels at what he calls “guerilla comedy”, hit and run laughs, if you like. Picture sitting in a sales conference, the mood gets more and more sombre as figures, profections, and quotes are covered. Suddenly there is a commotion at the back. Maybe a short bloke lumbering a suitcase stumbles into the room purporting to be “checking it out” got another function; perhaps he interjects from the back on a point the speaker has made; maybe he just hijacks the stage, unannounced. It’s STEVE DAVIS again, arriving, entertaining and disappearing, leaving delegates awake, alert and refreshed.
MAGIC & CLOWNING
A great ice-breaker at any event is to have a Close-up Magician wandering from table to table or group to group amazing people by performing tricks right under their noses. The added attraction of this form of entertainment is the intimacy involved when the guests are actually participating in the tricks.
DROP KICK THE CLOWN
As Drop Kick the Clown, Steve became a mischievous rascal who keeps people entertained for hours if necessary. Combining his magic and juggling skills with his innate zanniess enables Drop Kick to put a smile on anyone’s face.
MASTER OF CEREMONIES
